Meet the Counselor

Richard Heidenreich M.Ed, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, comes from a large Catholic family. His educational background is extensive, as he was educated in both the United States and Europe. He has had training in Secular and Christian Therapy.

 

He graduated with the following Degrees: a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Philosophy (Magna Cum Laude) from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy; and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physiological Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Richard has counseled adults (singles and married couples), teens, and children for the past 25 years, addressing impairment through Drugs & Alcohol, ADD/ADHD, Autism, Addiction, Explosive Anger, Anxiety, Depression (Mood Disorders), Spiritual Disorders, and Stress.

Richard’s book, DIVINE HEALTH, offers practical guidelines to look at and resolve your conflicts between the spiritual, the emotional, and the psychological dimensions. Richard will take you on a journey where you will be guided to make your own conclusion about your real purpose in life. You may see, as thousands have seen, that to live life as a “Whole Person” is the only life that will logically fulfill you.

Richard works in private practice and also provides electronic counseling via the Internet. Richard’s therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from the Psychological and Philosophical Schools of Thought as well as his comprehensive experience in secular counseling and spiritual formation.

Richard will relate to you so that you will feel safe and comfortable as issues are shared and discussed. Richard follows the guidelines as set forth by HIPPA regulations to strictly insure your confidentiality. He is very much interested in helping you to become whole and HAPPY.
